ONTARIO FAMILY & MOTHERHOOD PHOTOGRAPHER

This work is about more than how this season looks. It’s about what it feels like to be in it.

The way your child reaches for you. The little routines, funny expressions, quiet pauses, and ordinary pieces of family life that don’t always feel important until they’ve already changed.

My sessions aren’t about perfect posing or trying to make your family look like anyone else’s. They’re calm, gently guided, and centred around the way you naturally are together.

The result is a gallery that feels honest, artful, and true to your family. Something that still feels like you years from now.

A storied, documentary approach —
guided gently, and rooted in connection.

FAMILY SESSIONS

A young boy with red hair and a girl with dark hair are lying on the floor playing together, with an adult man with blond hair sitting behind them, smiling and interacting with the children. They are near a large window and seem to be enjoying a happy moment.

Family sessions with me are less about everyone sitting perfectly still, and more about making space for your family to feel like yourselves.

We slow things down, settle in, and let your children move, play, reach, wander, and come back to you. I’ll gently guide when needed, but the session is never about forcing moments or trying to make your family look like anyone else’s.

I’m paying attention to the pieces you may not think to photograph on an ordinary day: the way your child leans into you, the little bursts of chaos, the quiet pauses, the familiar ways you all move together.

These are the details that become meaningful with time.
A glimpse into their childhood, and your place at the centre of it.

NEWBORN SESSIONS

A black and white photo of a woman, a man, and a baby on a bed. The woman and man are looking at the newborn baby, who is lying on the woman's lap. The woman wears earrings and a bracelet, and the man has short hair. They are all engaged in a tender moment.

Newborn sessions are a quiet way to remember the earliest days of your family’s story. These sessions take place in the comfort of your home and unfold slowly, led by your baby’s rhythm. There’s space for feeding, soothing, changing, and settling in, with gentle direction when needed so nothing feels rushed or overly posed.

I focus on the moments that already feel small but will mean so much later: the way your baby fits against you, the tiny details, the quiet rooms, the familiar routines, and the way your family is beginning to take shape around this new little life.

The result is a collection that feels honest, artful, and deeply personal. Images that hold the feeling of those first weeks, not just what they looked like.

MATERNITY SESSIONS

Maternity sessions are a quiet way to honour this chapter before everything changes again. They’re not just about the shape of your belly, but the feeling of these final weeks. The waiting, the closeness, the way your family is already making room for someone new.

Sessions move at an easy pace, with gentle direction and space for simple, honest moments to unfold. Whether it’s just you, you and your partner, or your family together, the focus is on photographing this season in a way that feels natural, artful, and true to you.

The result is a collection of images that holds the feeling of this time. Not overly posed, not overly perfect, but meaningful enough to return to years from now.

MOTHERHOOD SESSIONS

Motherhood sessions are for the mothers who are usually the ones taking the photos, but rarely find themselves in them.

They’re a quiet, intentional way to remember the closeness of this season — the little hands reaching for you, the way they climb into your lap, the routines and small moments that happen without planning.

These sessions are focused on the connection between you and your children, whether that unfolds at home, outside, while breastfeeding, playing, cuddling, or moving through the familiar rhythm of your day together.

The focus is not on making the session feel overly polished or performative. It’s about creating honest, artful images that let you see yourself inside this season, not just behind it.

Most families spend between $650–$900 + HST, depending on the session and location.

Most sessions are around 1–2 hours, with space for your family to settle in and be photographed without feeling rushed.

Every session includes a full gallery of hand-edited images, thoughtfully curated into a cohesive collection made not only for you, but for your children to hold onto one day.

I take on a limited number of sessions each month so each family receives the time, care, and attention their story deserves.
